“The
horror, the horror”
The
quote “The horror the horror” compares very well to the book Lord
of the Flies because a group of boys get stranded on an island in the
middle of know where. They realize after days that them getting saved
is not that big of a reality. Eventually the boys find a “beast”
and get so caught up i n killing it that they end up going against
each other and one of them ends up getting killed. The quote “the
horror the horror” shows that all the bad thing that can happen,
its not goods time on the island and this quote works well. The
killing of a kid and savage on the island is horrific. Cannibalism
and hopelessness lead to to the quote “the horror, the horror”.
Eventually when the boys get rescued all the horrific things they
have done will make the quote “the horror, the horror” a reality.
